What conditions are treated with chiropractic care?
Chiropractors are primary care physicians trained to assess and treat all myofascial (muscle, connective tissue) and boney joint disorders. This training requires chiropractors to determine if a patients needs referral to another specialty. e.g. kidney stones can cause low back pain, heart problems can cause chest and arm pain.
Conditions treated include:
Chronic conditions such as neck pain, back pain, tension headaches, TMJ disorders, joint pain of the ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, wrist, spine, fingers and toes, frozen shoulder, osteoarthritis, iliotibial band syndrome, plantar fascitis etc
Acute conditions such as whiplash, sports injuries, auto accidents, ligament sprains of the ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, wrist, spine, fingers and toes, herniated disc etc
Nerve conditions such as Sciatica, disc pain, arm pain and numbness, foot pain numbness or tingling, carpal tunnel etc
Chiropractors are uniquely positioned to help manage idiopathic conditions such as scoliosis, fibromyalgia, immune dysfunction, asthma, colic, stress and anxiety, poor joint range of motion etc

What is the cost per visit?
You will have one office visit fee and this is our cash rate. We collect our office visit fee with every visit at time of service.
Our New Patient Office Visit Fee is
$100 (for ages 0 to 17 and 65 to 79) or $125 (for ages 18 to 64)
Our follow up Office Visit Fee is
$68 (for ages 0 to 17 and 65 to 79) or $85 (for ages 18 to 64)
Our sports physical fee is $50
If you are not taking advantage of insurance, you may review our complete cost per visit policy on our Cost Per Visit form

Do we accept insurance?
Yes, we will bill all insurance companies. We do collect the office visit fee at every visit to cover all non-covered services and your co-pay. If we receive a payment from your insurance company we will forward that payment directly to you via the credit card used at the time of service.

Do we work with workers compensation or Med Pay from auto accident?
There are a few options for payment for automobile accidents and/or worker’s comp claims:
Bill the liable insurance company
Bill your automobile insurance for Med pay.
Many times the insurance company will contact us before you arrive. Having the paying insurance company information including the authorization letter with claim number and approved number of treatments helps you get treated sooner.
Having your claim handler name and phone number is commonly on your authorization letter, but if not finding this information is helpful

an exam, treatment and personalized exercise prescription.
Follow up visits are 20 minutes in length and include:

School Sports Physicals are 20 minutes in length and include:
assessment of ear, eyes, nose, and throat function, nerve, and reflex function, blood pressure, height, and weight, joint, and muscle coordination determining physical ability to participate in sport

No, we do not offer these services. We can refer our patients to NorCal Imaging or you may contact your primary care provider.

What should I wear to the appointment?
You typically would want to wear comfortable clothes you can freely bend, squat, and twist in.

Is there any office documentation, do I need to sign anything?
Yes, we have 4 consent forms, and a 5th form for Medicare patients, that are to be reviewed and signed prior to your first appointment. Three forms are the same for all patients: Informed Consent, Privacy Practices, and Cancellation Policy.
