Originally hailing from California, my roots are deeply intertwined with the delta, fostering a love for water activities like scuba diving and boating. Alongside my family, I've devoted years to feeding, spaying, and nurturing harbor kitties.
Living with asthma since childhood, I intimately understand its challenges. Despite being told I wouldn't graduate high school due to missing PE credits, I defied expectations through independent study, incorporating core workouts, cardio, weight training, and ballet dance classes. Yoga became a staple during my ballet studies and later, a recommended remedy for my sciatica in my early 20's. Continuing education in massage reinforced the importance of exercise and core strengthening, leading me to pursue certifications in Mat Pilates and Corrective Exercise Specialist.
I've also gained experience as a teacher's assistant, specializing in teaching children with special needs. My commitment to giving back led me to donate in-home Reiki sessions for stress relief to hospice patients and caregivers. Drawing from my extensive training in Reiki, crystal healing, yoga, spiritual release, and shamanic practices, I offer a holistic approach focusing on emotional and spiritual connection for those seeking it.
Believing in the power of holistic healing, I advocate for practices like healthy eating, exercise, and addressing limiting beliefs and traumas, often overlooked in traditional Western medicine. Recognizing the limitations of conventional massage techniques, I specialize in chair massage, eliminating discomfort from sinus and chest congestion experienced while lying down. Seated upright, clients benefit from targeted relief in areas prone to tightness, such as the back, shoulders, neck, and rib cage muscles, crucial for individuals with respiratory conditions and poor posture.
I would love the opportunity to meet you and see what we can do together.
