How does Insurance work with us?
Here at Unbroken Body we provide additional services that fall under the "Non-Covered Services" category for insurance companies. For this reason, all appointments will be a flat rate office-visit fee of $85, regardless of previous co-payment amounts. A claim is submitted to your insurance company the day of your first visit. It typically takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks to hear back from your insurance company. Once and if we receive payment from your insurance company, we send an email directly to you, asking how you would like to be reimbursed for the amount they covered. We can either return your covered portion of payment back to the card you used, or keep the credit on file for you to use toward future appointments. We will also adjust the cost per visit so you will only be charged the difference.
For example, if your insurance company agrees to pay $25 out of the $85, your new cost per visit would be $60, assuming there's no additional charges or fees per your insurance company. An example of this would be, if your insurance company agrees to pay $40 for the visit but your co-payment amount is $20 then the new cost per visit will be $65.
